Welcome to SORRENTO!!! Paradise on Earth!
After a long, but fantastic flight, we arrived in Rome in the late afternoon yesterday (Sunday, July 3rd) and quickly boarded our fancy coach bus for a 3hr+ ride down south to Sorrento on the Amalfi Coast. We checked into our hotel just after 8pm and by 9pm we were enjoying a most delicious dinner! Some quick ice breakers and rules and regs. followed and off to bed we went exhausted and dreaming about the next exciting day.
This morning we are all in our classes being introduced to the exciting English, History, Italian and Digital Photography courses offered while having our classes in a park, by the sea, on a stunning terrace overlooking the bay or in a historic hotel lobby!
This afteroon we orient the students to the main areas of Sorrento. We are right downtown surrounded by the sea, the old town and the tasty lemon and orange trees.
Stay tuned as our adventure takes us to the Positano and the Amalfi Coast tomorrow once classes are done!!!
